Location: Bensley Agrihood site, (2600 Swineford Rd, Bensley, VA)
Purpose: Monthly “Service Day” featuring a Bensley Agrihood Site Clean-up w/ Land Stewardship Education. Featuring Bensley “Community Day” Activities
Organizers: Bensley Agrihood Planning Project (BAPP) w/ support from Mothers Out Front.
What to expect @ Bensley Agrihood site Service Day (Please Arrive by 10am):
- Bensley Agrihood Planning Project Welcome & Introductions
- Agroforestry Education
- *Participate in Land Stewardship activities
- Kids Activities (Mothers Out Front)
- Conclusion (we’re done by 2pm)
* Refreshment & Lunch Provided for Land Stewardship participants
What to wear: Comfortable clothes that can get dirty
· Long pants or jeans.
· Long shirt.
· Jacket, hat and gloves.
· Boots or closed toes shoes that will keep you dry.
· Protective eyewear (goggles)
BE ADVISED: There is no Bathroom at the Bensley Agrihood site!
