The incubator farm at the Bensley Agrihood will provide new and aspiring farmers with access to land, resources, training, and mentorship to help them start and grow their farming businesses. It is designed to support the development of new agricultural enterprises by providing a supportive environment for learning and experimentation.
Farmers will be able to access 1/4th of an acre to start their farm journey. As they build their customer base and refine their standard operating procedures they will be granted opportunity to scale up their operation on land provided by the Central Virginia Agrarian Commons.
